The Maha Kumbh Mela is an auspicious occasion that will see the transformation of Prayagraj city to enhance the overall user experience.
In the previous Kumbh Mela of 2019, the Prayagraj Mela Authority successfully hosted over 24 crore pilgrims with support from more than 20 state departments and several central government ministries.
Given the scale of the Maha Kumbh, service provisioning will be further enhanced to ensure a seamless experience for all pilgrims.
An effective technology-enabled monitoring mechanism for a GIS-based Water Pipeline and Water ATM Monitoring System, equipped with a Command Center, will be developed to achieve this goal.
A dedicated call centre with an 8-member team will be available around the clock. Coverage will be maintained through three shifts, each with 8 individuals working 8-hour shifts.
